FOUR PLACES – FIVE DAYS OF OFFICIAL VISITS OF VISHVA GURU NARENDRA MODI
Modi in London: His visit is to boost the economic partnership between our nations.
A strong India-UK friendship is essential for global progress.
“UK is a country with which our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership has achieved significant momentum in the last few years. I look forward to my talks with PM Keir Starmer and my meeting with His Majesty King Charles III” – Modi Tweeted while emplaning to London on 23rd June 2025.

Modi Ji as a true Visva Guru believes in ONE EARTH, ONE
WORLD, ONE FAMILY.
Free Trade
is the fulcrum on which this principle of World Trade, Unity and Peace
revolves.
Tariffs are
becoming more and more hurdles for the mutual growth of nations’ trades and manufacturing industries.
To begin
with, UK and India had come out with bold beneficial steps of reducing tariffs
on many products so that there will be price reductions thereby increasing the markets for the
prosperity of the two nations.
And there
is every possibility of European Unions joining such Free Trade Agreements much
to the discomforts of Trump’s Steps to impose tariffs on many countries purely
on political considerations and utter frustrations.
A new chapter begins in the the signing of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) creating opportunities for farmers, women, youth, MSMEs, and professionals. The Free Trade Agreement is aimed to enhance trade to $ 120 billion by 2030 - in key sectors such as energy, technology and manufacturing.
India and
UK by signing a land mark Free Trade Agreement (FTA) their bilateral trades are
to increase by nearly $34 billion annually.
British
goods like medical devices, aerospace parts, cars, whisky, chocolates and
cosmetics are to enter the Indian market with sharply reduced tariffs.

At
Chequers, PM Narendra Modi and PM Keir_Starmer
viewed an exhibition showcasing the strong
economic partnership between India and the UK.
PM Modi had
a warm meeting with His Majesty King Charles III. They discussed key aspects of
the India-UK partnership, including the Comprehensive Economic and Trade
Agreement (CETA) and the Vision 2035. Their conversation also touched upon
collaboration in sectors like education, health and wellness, particularly Yoga
and Ayurveda.
Connecting over cricket!
“For both
of us, Cricket is not just a game, but a passion.
And also,
a great metaphor for our partnership.
There may
be a swing and a miss at times, but we always play with a straight bat!
We are
committed to building a high scoring solid partnership” Observed
PM Modi.

Some High Lights of Modis’s speech at Tutocorin:
In February last year, I laid the foundation stone of the ‘Outer Harbor Container Terminal’ for ‘V.O. Chidambaranar Port’ here. At that time, projects worth hundreds of crores of rupees were also inaugurated. In September, I inaugurated the new Thoothukudi International Container Terminal. On 26th July today once again, projects worth forty-eight hundred crore rupees have been inaugurated and foundation stones have been laid. These include projects for airport, highways, ports and railways, and also important initiatives related to the power sector. I congratulate all of you, the people of Tamil Nadu for this.
Only last year I had gifted the famous pearls of Thoothukudi to Bill Gates. He liked those pearls very much. The Pandya Pearls here were once a symbol of India's economic power throughout the world.
Today we
have also dedicated two major road projects of Tamil Nadu built at a cost of
approximately Rs 2,500 crore, which are going to connect two major development
