Taittiriya Upanishad - Shiksha Valli

Image
Taittriya in Sanskrit means “From Tittiri”.  The word ‘Tittiri’ is being interpreted in two ways: 1. It refers to Sage Tittiri who was the student of Yaska. 2. It refers to mythical students who became “Partridges” (birds – Kouthari in Tamil) in order to gain knowledge. Each Chapter of the Taittiriya Upanishad is called a Valli which literally means a medicinal vine – like climbing plant that grows indpependently yet is attached to a main tree. The Taittiriya Upanishad has three chapters: the  Siksha Valli , the  Ananda Valli  and the  Bhrigu Valli . The first chapter Siksha Valli contains  twelve  Anuvaka  (lessons). The second chapter  Ananda Valli , sometimes called  Brahmananda Valli  contains  nine verses. The third chapter  Bhrigu Valli  contains  ten verses. Hence  Taittiriya Upanishads’ total Anuvaka (Lessons) is 31 verses.  But, we are here confined...

MODI THE BEST PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA

Image
Former Union Minister of HM & Finance Minister P. Chidambaram on anti CAA protests said: "The amendment to the Citizenship Act should be abandoned forthwith and the government should listen to protestors.“ Perhaps it becomes Protestors VS Legislators, as apart from NDA, many non BJP legislatures had voted and passed the said amendment which PC wants to abandon. Both houses had discussed threadbare debated and voted for the Amendment and now it is a law. It gave justice to Hindus Sikhs etc. Include Muslims driven or illegally crossed to India from Pakistan border or Abandon - is not morally correct or rationally acceptable. No objection if they follow electoral routes to get their so called injustices rectified but not to stop to get relief to Hindus, Sikhs etc. P. Chidambaram's records of Home Ministry Days were full of Terrorists Acts of Radical Muslims locally and of Pakistan's sponsored Militant Terrorists from across Pakistan's b...

Delhi Riots - Most Horrible Action of so called "Peaceful" Islam.

CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019), NPR (National Population Register), NCR (National Citizenship Register) were introduced, amended and kept under cold storage for the last 70 years since independence by the Congress Regimes from Jawaharlal Nehru down to Manmohan Singh. Muslims’ Vote Bank Politics and Fear of Pakistan and Local Muslims’ ire had tied the hands of Congress in taking decisive decisions in removing the injustices done to Pakistan and Bangladesh Minority Communities such as Hindus, Sikhs, Christians etc. who were forced to leave their places due to religious persecutions by Pakistan/Bangladesh Muslims by granting them citizenship as a onetime measure so as to render justice to them. There is nothing in CAA to snatch the citizenship of existing Muslims living in India having already Indian Citizenship. Nehru and Gandhi had advocated and asserted that it was injustice to deny citizenship to the persecuted Pakistani Minorities - Hindus, Sikhs etc....

PM’s address in the 9th Episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat 2.0’

1. A few days ago, at a small place at the Hunar Haat in Delhi, I witnessed hues of our country’s diverse expanse, cultures, traditions, cuisines & the warmth of emotions. As a matter of fact the repertoire comprising traditional attires, handicrafts, carpets, utensils, Bamboo & brass products, Phulkari of Punjab, exotic leatherwork of Andhra Pradesh, beautiful paintings from Tamilnadu , brass products of Uttar Pradesh, Bhadohi carpets, copper work of Kutch, a number of musical instruments & innumerable stories; the vivid mosaic of pan- Indian art & culture was truly unique.  The stories of the artisans’ perseverance, zeal & love for their skill are equally inspiring as well. Listening to a divyang woman at the Hunar Haat was a source of fulfillment. She told me that earlier she used to sell paintings on the pavement. Her life changed after she connected with Hunar Haat . Today, she is not only self- reliant; she has purchased a house too....
