Presenting Shield of Whip
In democracy, all parties are duty bound to help EC to perform its constitutional duties of conducting elections and they should also abide its decisions during the election time. Any party can take up the matter with the EC after the Election to get their grievances registered or addressed. But during this election, opposition parties had crossed Lakshman Rekha in accusing even EC with immunity which will not augur well for the country . Disrespects to the Constitutional Bodies like EC, SC etc . should not have been resorted to by any one. E-Touch thought that mere honoring Election Commission alone was not sufficient, but those who had committed the various offences towards EC needed to be cautioned. To that end, E-Touch presents ‘Shield of Whip’ to two persons as representatives for all those who crossed Lakshman Rekha as per our assessments.
