Presenting Shield of Whip
In democracy, all parties are duty bound to help EC to
perform its constitutional duties of conducting elections and they should also
abide its decisions during the election time. Any party can take up the matter
with the EC after the Election to get their grievances registered or addressed.
But during this election, opposition
parties had crossed Lakshman Rekha in accusing even EC
with immunity which will not augur well for the country . Disrespects to the
Constitutional Bodies like EC, SC etc. should not have
been resorted to by any one. E-Touch
thought that mere honoring Election Commission
alone was not sufficient, but those who had committed the various
offences towards EC needed to be cautioned. To that end, E-Touch presents
‘Shield of Whip’ to two persons as representatives for all those who crossed Lakshman Rekha as per our
assessments.
Rahul Congress alleged about possible
Hacking of EVMs. and demanded conduct of election by Paper
Ballots System. They had also done Dharna for 100% Voting Verifications.
Twisting SC Verdict on Rafale Deal and using it for Election
Propaganda, Refused to tender apology to
SC initially but relented later to avoid contempt of court were
some of Congress accusations/actions during Lok Sabha Election 2019.
Mamata had virtually waged war like agitations against Election Commission by resorting to various Petitions, Dharnas, Openly accusing the Election Commission as the Agent of Modi. She said that Election Commission was creating Emergency Like Situation due to pressures from Modi-Shaw duo. Her action was quite unpredictable and unprecedented to the say the least and it is quite worth to mention that the Election Commission had dealt with the situation admirably. Mamata is being ‘honoured’ with shield of whip.
