  The Bhagavad Gita – Three Fold Aspects of Faith Preface:   Three Characteristics nature (Gunas) of Human Beings are the deciding factor about the qualities of life, behaviours and outlooks. Sri Bhagavan urges all to reach the level of Sattva i.e. goodness as against Rajas (passion) and Tamas (ignorance). The definitions, classifications and grades of all these three gunas are found explained in detail and in a very simple language. Actually, three Chapters – 14, 17 and 18 are exclusively devoted for this purpose. Lord Krishna has declared that three Gunas bind soul to the body and the liberation will come only on conquering them. To attain salvation – i.e. birth less state or union with the Supreme Being or God, one should know the methods of life in respect of Faith, Food, Sacrifice, Austerity, Gift. NDA of N. Rangaswamy – Leader of All India NR Congress with Jug Symbol and A. Namasivayam – Puducherry BJP Leader ( A Good Winning Catch from INC due to his differences with V. Narayanasamy – who was parachuted from New Delhi last time to become CM being a loyalist of Sonia-Rahul-Priyanka Dynasty) with Lotus Symbol had defeated Congress where even previous CM Narayanasamy was not contesting 2021 Assembly Election, Congress could win only 2 seats out of 14 seats in alliance with DMK who won 6 out of 13 seats. Vote Share of AINR and BJP was 26% and 14% respectively (rounded off), while that of DMK and INC was 19% and 16% respectively. ADMK of NDA which contested 5 seats drew blank. One set back for Rangaswamy – CM was that he won Thattanchavadi, but, was defeated in Yanam – but fortunately it had avoided another election if he had won two seats contested.   BJP’s victory in 4 Assembly Constituencies - Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Modakurichi and Coimbatore South was timely and moral booster for BJP cadres who had toiled for months to prove the statement of DMK Leaders who said that no BJP candidate could  win in Dravidian Soil – wrong. After a period of 20 long years, BJP had won 4 seats and last time BJP made gains in Tamil Nadu was in 2001 where it was in alliance with DMK winning 4 seats ! C. Saraswathi won her seat by defeating all powerful former DMK Minister Subbulakshi Jegadeesan – though with slender margin. MR Gandhi’s win was also spectacular as he defeated three-time DMK MLA N Suresh Rajan with a good margin due Hindu consolidation of votes. Same was the case of Nainar Nagendran – Former ADMK man. Another win by Vanathi Srinivasan was equally special, as she defeated Kamala Hasan, Popular Actor and Leader of Newly Formed Makkal Neethi Maiyam with a slender margin. Didi’s Electoral Victory consecutively for the third term was a great Himalayan achievement against the aggressive campaigns by BJP duly monitored by Home Minister Amit Shaw and BJP National President J.   Chitra Pournima on 27 th April 2021 – Tuesday and AKSHAYA TRITIYA ON THE 14 TH APRIL 2021 – FRIDAY   The Chitra Purnima is a Hindu festival dedicated to Chitragupta, who is the divine accountant and also the assistant to the God of Death, Lord Yama. As per the Hindu mythology, He is responsible for keeping the track of good and bad deeds in the life of all individuals. In the Hindu scriptures, Chitragupta assists Lord Yama in judging the good and bad deeds of every individual. It is believed that after a person dies, he/she reaches to the abode of Lord Yama and then Chitragupta after assessing the deeds of deceased person, declares him/her to be a good or a bad soul. The day of Chitra Purnima is therefore celebrated in honour of Chitragupta and devotees worship Him on this auspicious day and ask forgiveness for their sins.
