HANUMAT JAYANTHI – 12TH APRIL 2025

Image
This festival, celebrated on April 12th (Saturday), marks the birthday of Lord Hanuman. Hanuman Ji in scriptures was stated to have born in Treta Yuga.   According to traditional Hindu calculations, the four yugas follow a cyclical pattern: Kali Yuga – 432,000 years (Started in 3102 BCE, ongoing now) Dwapara Yuga – 864,000 years Treta Yuga – 1,296,000 years Satya Yuga – 1,728,000 years When Was Treta Yuga? To estimate Treta Yuga in BCE , we work backward: Kali Yuga began in 3102 BCE Dwapara Yuga lasted 864,000 years → So, it started: 3102+864,000=867,102  Treta Yuga lasted 1,296,000 years → So, it started: 867,102+1,296,000=2,163,102  📌 Treta Yuga timeline (Traditional Calculation): Started: ~2,163,102 BCE  Ended: ~867,10 Modern Astronomical Estimates: Treta Yuga (~15,000 BCE – ~5,000 BCE) But   some researchers use planetary positions from Valmiki Ramayana to estimate that Lord Rama lived around 12,000–17,000 years ago ...
