OUR ‘TEEK HAI’ MANMOHAN SINGH
Nothing is Teek Hai, as you, as the head of the most
vibrant democratic country such as India, is not ‘Teek Hai.’
And unfortunately, it is the saddest chapter in our
Indian History.
Even his sympathy and soothing words - after his
stoic silence for over a week - had lost their value and had shown him in poor
light inspite of being a father of 3 daughters thereby his ‘honesty’ which is
the only oft-quoted word about him as a person - is also under cloud by his
un-intentional remarks of “Teek Hai’ - enquiring whether his speech recording
to the nation had come out properly and well. That had displayed no sense of
urgency, sincerity or commitment on the part of our Honourable Prime Minister.
While His silence is tormenting, his speech is
torturing.
Delhi was shaken with the peaceful agitations of
young girls and boys and even women with children and even elders to wake up
our Kumbakarna Governments - both Centre and Delhi State.
Lt. Governor of Delhi was absent for the last one
week - from last Sunday to this Sunday. Where to complain about his
indifference, irresponsiblity, dereliction of duties? Has He not accountable
and can he not rush from his foreign sojourn to Delhi to monitor and to take
full charge of the affairs and agitation? Having arrived at Delhi, Lt.Governor
of Delhi had chosen to suspend some police officials. But, should the Lt.
Governor be also be sacked by the President or anyone who has the power for his
failings? What ethics does Lt.Governor has to suspend officials, while he
himself should be brought under the spectrum of law for his dereliction of
duties attracting punitive action. If any law gives such a head immunity, then
such law also needs a change - yes, Change as fast as one can think of.
Is it not a fit case for taking suo moto action
against Lt.Governor?
Country is watching.
Lathi Charge, Tear Gas Shells, Cane charge, Water
Charge had not made the will of the agitators in any way dampen - but, had actually
infuriated them to gather more in numbers.
After all - What they want? Women’s safety in India
- 24/7.
Our Home Minister, when asked: Why no one from the
Government from the Prime Minister, the Home Minister, the Chair Person or
Raghul Gandhi had not gone to the trouble spots to assuage the agitators’
feelings and to give assurances at the spot?, Home Minister answered with a
counter question: Who will give assurance to the safety to those persons?
Every one knows - how these high ranking people at
the Government are being protected by CATS
- Black Cats, White Cats, Yellow Cats - depending upon their category
perception of security risks - From Z to A. Are these young spontaneous
agitators - whose angers were assessed as justified by our Prime Minister
himself - dangerous elements of the society? Are they not Humble and Honest
Voters of this country? While the Home
Minister is quite concerned with the safety of a chosen few - without any
reason or rhyme, can he not extend same concern to the poor common women
depending upon public transport system for their travel? This same Home
Minister was ready give all respects to the terrorists of 26/11 Mumbai blasts - respectfully as
Shri/Mr. now being protected by the Pakistan Government in the floor of the Parliament very recently
and such is the mind-set of defenders of freedom, security and safety!
Shame unto our Home Minister who was flanked by 4
top ministers and officials on either side, when he was addressing a press
conference at New Delhi to explain the government stands and steps taken to
safeguard the women in the public places. Even there, Home Minister was seen
only praising Sonia Gandhi who is after all the Chair Person having no direct
accountability or responsibility.
Same arrogance was displayed by one more - Congress
Chief, Botsa Satyanarayana. Delhi gang
rape, according to this congress gentleman, is a minor incident. And he further
added: “Just because India achieved freedom at midnight does not mean that
women can venture out after dark. The woman should have thought twice before
boarding the suspicious private bus that night. They should ensure that they do
not board buses with few passengers.” Again, he ended his speech by praising
Sonia Gandhi! Gandhi had said and proclaimed that a country has attained true
freedom until and unless a lone women can walk freely without any fear in any
streets of that country. Andhra Congress
Chief had once again become another Nathuram Godse!
With these people at the helm, we will not get
JUSTICE.
We have to bear with them for another few months to
pull them down - down to the extent that no one should dare to treat general
public - AAM AADMI - in such a blatant manner like the present Congress Rule.
