Bail Rahul’s Failed Earthquake

Rahul Gandhi is in bail since 20th February 2015 on his executing personal bond of Rs.50,000 and one surety due to the alleged frauds committed by him along with his beloved mother Sonia and a few others in National Herald case and he is allowed to roam around in view of lenient bail conditions. Hence more than ordinary care and restraint is to be displayed by him in his speech and behaviours.

 Though verdict is yet to come, Rahul has perhaps lost his balance when he thundered thus: “The government is running from a debate. They are not allowing me to speak in Lok Sabha. If they allow me to speak, then you will see an earthquake erupting.” 

Entire Nation knows that Lok Sabha was disrupted by Opposition Parties - Congress in the fore front. 

Then Rahul had chosen to speak about the earthquake-type power speech in a public meeting instead of in Lok Sabha. It runs like this: Sahara paid Rs.40 crore to Narendra Modi before he became prime minister.  When Modi was the chief minister of Gujarat, he received multiple payments spread across 2013-14 from the company.  When the Income-Tax department raided Sahara’s premises in 2014, they recovered documents - diary notes and computer records - showing that payments have been made to Modi between the months of October 2013 and February 2014.

 The details as mentioned in the diary notes of Sahara Group are:  As per record with IT, Rs 2.5 cr was given to PM Modi on 30 Oct ’13; Rs 5 cr on 12 Nov ’13; Rs 2.5 cr on 27 Nov ’13; Rs 5cr on 29 Nov ’13. Entries showed Rs 5cr given to PM Modi on 6 Dec ’13; Rs 5 cr on 19 Dec ’13; Rs 5cr on 13 Jan ’14; Rs 5 cr on 28 Jan ’14; Rs 5 cr 22 Feb ’14.

Actually, this information was already presented to the court by Prashant Bhushan, Supreme Court Lawyer and the same was also said by Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi Assembly. The court had already ruled that such diary entries could not be accepted as evidence and the same was rejected by the court.

 In the Birla/Sahara payoff documents, apart from Modi’s name, the names of Sheila Dikshit and Jayanthi Natarajan, Shivraj Patel etc. are mentioned.  Hence names of Congress Ex-Central Ministers and Ex-Chief Minister are figuring in the dairy note and Gandhi, when questioned about their own party colleagues’ names in the list, was quite evasive. Above all, Sheila Dikshit who is the Chief Ministerial candidate for the forthcoming UP election objected Rahul’s quoting the dairy note in attacking Modi of scam and confirmed that there was no truth in the note. 

Before questioning Modi, Rahul should come out clean about his ex-ministers/chief minister, if he is a gentleman politician - but, it is quite evident that his earth quake had lost its course and epicentre thereby instead of striking Modi - it had landed on Congress Party exposing its scams and further tarnishing its name by its own Vice President inadvertently.  And it is now revealed that Rahul himself had used Luxury vehicle provided by Sahara while filing his nomination papers in Amethi for Lok Sabha election 2014!

At the recently held 132nd Congress Foundation Day, Rahul’s remarks were funny and it seems that he is bent upon to end Congress Party once for all. He said “Congress is the idea that it is not only my view that will prevail”. He said it in the assembly of many Congress veterans. The party that ruled India for long years could not be pushed to the status of ‘an idea’, though Congress Party can open to the ‘ideas’ of its members.

Another Rahul’s accusation is that Modi government is pro-corporate and is Adani-Ambani Ki Sarkar and that huge loans of industrialists were written off thereby proving that Modi Sarkar is for them - 1% leaving 99% to suffer due to demonetization and no written off for farmers loans. Even in UPA’s farmers’ Loan waiver scheme in 2009, irregularities were noticed by CAG in 2013 – vide the display here below:

Modi was crowned only in May 2014 and earlier to this period, mostly Congress was ruling. 

Let us have a quick screening of facts:

During UPA regime - Adani Loan: Rs.72,000 crore and Ambani Group Loan: Rs.1,13,000 crore.

Written off during UPA regime: Rs.36.5 lac crore to various corporates between 2005 and 2013 - during successive terms of Congress-led UPA government under Manmohan Singh.

Vijay Mallya group’s accounts: SBI frozen accounts, as he failed to repay loans over Rs.1,450 crore in 2012. But Mallya was granted loans of Rs.1,500 crore.  Modi Sarkar is taking all steps to recover the dues and also to bring him back to India for trial.

Granting of Loans to Corporate as such is not sin - but, influencing the banks to grant such loans is. Further, BJP’s spokesperson’s reply is worth quoting: Adani, Ambani and Malya were not born in the past two-and-half years and they are as old as the congress party and have been flourishing when Rahul Gandhi was not even born. Therefore, Congress owes more explanations how these groups flourished if they had tainted background?

Now, Rahul is seeking the companies of Jailed Lalu, Failed Mamata and Nailed Arvind to condemn Modi and if possible to unseat Modi even before Modi could complete his term - more to prevent Modi from becoming PM for the next term.

Congress is ready to pay any price –foul or fair - to go any extent to achieve its plan of tarnishing Modi’s Image.  But, at present, Rahul’s efforts to consolidate opposition parties against Modi ended up in fiasco - as only 8 out of 16 parties had attended his call.

Rahul who is more popular as Pappu rather than Vice President of Congress Party, is not a matured politician to take Modi head-on. His Learning Curve is so poor that his own party men is yet to take him seriously.

One thing is certain: His ‘IDEA’ or ‘Dream’ of becoming Prime Minister will never happen, as things stand to-day and India is saved!
