Athivaradar Thiru Ninra Kolam



Athi Varadar at Sri Devaraswamy Temple, Kancheepuram gave darshan in sayana kolam (lying down position) to devotees for a full month from 1st July 2019 till 31st July 2019. 

On 1st August 2019  the idol is giving darshan to devotees in nindra kolam (standing position) and will be kept till August 17. 

Then the idol will be immersed at Temple Tank Ananthasaras for another 40 years.  Athi Varadar’s right hand abhaya mudra contains three Tamil Letters – viz  à®®ா. சு. ச. Which means ‘You Surrender to me. You will be liberated’ – a quote from Bhagavad Gita.

Let Athi Varadar bless All Vaaimai Patrons  with beautiful, blissful and blessed life ahead.

Nithyashree Mahadevan , Aruna Sairam , OS Arun , Unnikrishnan , Anuradha Shriram , Tippu & Saindhavi – names that you’re most familiar with Carnatic music who are supposed to be a role model for younger generatons .  The above mentioned singers  stooped down to the lowest level possible. They all signed up to sell their music, Thyagaraja Kirthanas to christian mission by simply changing few words and singing in praise of Jesus. It is highly condemnable that they chose to replace the word Rama with Yesu and sang all the kirthanas . It is that same Rama and Krishna who showered their blessings and made them popular and these scumbags have decided to sell our kirthanas to churches who will use them ONLY to do more conversion. Ancient India was called as Bharatavarsa meaning thereby – the country ( varsa ) of Bharata – Emperor Bharata , the son of Shakuntala and Dushyanta Maharaja. Further, Bharata in Sanskrit means Bha – Light and Knowledge and Rata – Devoted and hence Bharata means ‘Devoted to light/knowledge’.
