O, Dragon! Beware of Krishna’s Sudarsan Chakra!
June 15, 2020 – Monday
was the most tragic Day in the Indian History. On that fateful day, India had
lost its 20 valiant jawans at Galwan Valley due to horrible
treacherous acts of Dragon’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
The
confrontation which took place on 15th June -
Monday was the biggest confrontation between the two militaries after their
1967 clashes in Nathu La in which over 300 Chinese army personnel were killed and we
lost around 80 soldiers. This Galwan Valley border row happened
after 53 years and while we lost 20 soldiers, they supposed to have lost around
43 soldiers.
After India and China had
agreed that Chinese troops would further disengage and return to their
territory in Ladakh's Galwan Valley on June 6, talks between major generals of both sides
were supposed to take place on June 16.
A patrol team of the Indian
Army led by Colonel Santosh Babu of 16 Bihar Regiment was set out to inspect the spot.
As per
June 6 agreement of military officials on two sides was to deescalate but
Chinese erected a structure in the Galwan valley on India’s
side of the LAC. Colonel Santosh Babu’s patrol
party, on detecting this violation of the agreement, demolished the towers and
burnt the tents put up by the Chinese forces.
Chinese’s
PLA retaliated by attacking our Jawans with rods and nail-studded clubs and
threw stones which were retaliated by our Jawans resulting in casualties on both sides. This brawl lasted for
more than 6 hours.
Some
Indian soldiers are believed to have been swept away in the Galwan river
and exposed to sub-zero temperatures in the high altitude terrain resulting in
their deaths.
No shots were fired by both
sides, as under an informal understanding between the two sides, evolved over
years of discussions over a contentious LAC, forward troops either do not carry
guns, or, if they do, keep them slung on their backs with the magazines in
pouches and not clipped on. Now, after Galwan Valley tragic incident,
this clause was said to be not binding on our soldiers anymore and they could
use firearms for self defense.
The road construction work
on our side of LAC might have irked the Chinese and India is quite determined
to go ahead with the development and construction works of roads and bridges on
our side. On June 13, a special train carried 1600 workers on to Leh, following an agreement
between the Jharkhand government and the BRO, but, due to the present crisis, a
special train that was to carry 1600 migrant workers on 16th June – Tuesday to Leh was cancelled.
The India-China border
dispute covers the 3,500 km-long LAC. China claims Arunachal Pradesh as part of
southern Tibet, while India contests it.
Indian troops will adopt a
firm approach in dealing with the aggressive posturing by the Chinese troops in
all disputed areas of Pangong Tso, Galwan Valley, Demchok and Daulat Beg Oldie.
The trigger for the
face-off was China's stiff opposition to India laying a key road in the Finger
area around the Pangong Tso Lake besides construction of another road connecting the Darbuk-Shayok-Daulat Beg Oldie road in Galwan Valley.
Last month’s violent
confrontations between Indian and Chinese soldiers in eastern Ladakh and north Sikkim triggered
a military buildup on both sides of the LAC that stretched from Ladakh to Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Arunachal
Pradesh. Scores of soldiers from the
two countries were also injured near Pangong Tso on the night of May 5-6,
with the scuffle involving around 250 men.
Galwan Valley
refers to the land that sits between steep mountains that buffet the Galwan River.
The river has its source in Aksai Chin, on China’s side of the LAC and it flows
east to Ladakh, where
it meets the Shyok river on India’s side of the LAC.
Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi had roared like a
Lion at Nimbu in Leh addressing our Jawans posted to protect
LAC as under:
1.India stands for
peace but will not hesitate if there’s a confrontation, if its hand of
friendship is misread as weakness.
2. Those who are weak can never initiate peace, bravery
is a pre-requisite for peace.
3. We are the same people who worship Bansuridhari Krishna (flutist
Krishna) but also idolize the same Krishna who wields the Sudarshan Chakra.
4. Whenever I take a decision for India’s national
security, I think of two mothers, one is Maa Bharti and the other is the
mother who gave birth to brave-hearts such as the Indian soldiers defending the
country’s borders.
5. Your courage is
even higher than where you are stationed. Your determination is stronger
than the valley you measure daily with your steps. Your arms are as strong
as the rocks that stand around you. Your will is as strong as the surrounding
mountains. I am feeling it by coming among you today. I am seeing it
with my own eyes. Let us go back to the past history to understand the genesis
of this present face off.
GalwanValley face off
between Indian Jawans and People’s Liberation Army has its origin to the Five
Fingers of Tibet – an ambitious Expansionist Plan of Mao Zedong, Founding
Father of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and the Chairman of the
Communist Party of China from its establishment in 1949 until death in 1976.
Mao
Zedong had declared openly that Tibet is China’s right palm, with five fingers
on its periphery: Lakakh, Nepal, Sikkim, Bhutan and NEFA – now called Arunachal Pradesh
and that it is China’s responsibility to liberate these regions. Perhaps that is why China had inserted the
word ‘Liberation’ in the name of Chinese Army.
The
Chinese had officially declared that the Five Fingers of Palm Tibet were
wrongfully being held by the Indian Imperialists and that these fingers being
parts of China’s territories allegedly taken by Indian Imperialist powers
between 1840 to 1919 must be reclaimed. The
claims over the "five fingers" were asserted "emphatically and
frequently" from 1958 to 1961 over the Peking (now known as Beijing) and Lhasa radio systems.
During a mass meeting in
Lhasa in July 1959, Chinese lieutenant general Zhang Guohua said:
"Bhutanese, Sikkimese and Ladakhis form a united family in
Tibet. They have always been subject to Tibet and to the great motherland of
China. They must once again be united and taught the communist doctrine.”
Accordingly,
Tibet which is called the roof of the World, was forcibly taken with brute
military force in 1959 dethroning Dalai Lama – the political and spiritual head
of Tibet who fled to India and sought asylum there and established the Exiled
Government in the Himalayan City of Dharmasala in India much to the opposition of the Dragon then and now as
well.
When Tibet was occupied,
Mao Zedong said: ‘Tibet is the palm which we must occupy, then we will go after
the five fingers’. The first finger is Ladakh. The other four are Nepal,
Bhutan, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.”
Dalai Lama’s successor Karmapa Lama who lived in India
after his flight from China in 2000 groomed as a possible political successor
had taken the citizenship in US leaving Dalai Lama in dilemma. This had paved
the way for China to force its own choice on Tibet.
India’s present steps to
develop Arunachal Pradesh to Ladakh covering all five fingers and India’s Agreements with Nepal
and Bhutan along with abolition of Article of 370 and 35A removing special
status for J & K and in particular Ladakh – one of its five fingers – declared as a Union Territory were
all strongly objected by China, but, India ignored China’s objections stating
that these were all India’s Internal matters where no third party would be
allowed to interfere.
Just like Jerusalem
is the cradle of both Christianity and Judaism, and Mecca and Medina the centre
of Islam, the Himalayas and its waters have played a seminal role in the rise,
growth and development of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. The Chinese
owe the origin and development of their glorious civilization more to the twin
non-Himalayan river valleys of the Hwang Ho and Yangtze than to the remote
Himalayas, the abode of snow. The name originates from the combination of two
Sanskrit words “him (snow)” and “alay (abode)”.
Hence the fervor of
these four religions – Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism spreading its
wings on all Himalayan Mountainous Regions of palm and five fingers will ever
rule in these territories and the Communism can never succeed in annexing the regions
though they might be facing problems from the Dragon. For that these regions
should align with India – politically, militarily and economically.
Hence Galwan Valley Faceoff shows Expansionism as the face of Dragon with
evil designs to revive the ill advised policy as floated by Mao Zedong.
Modi sensing its devilish designs of
Expansionism even at this 21st
Century had condemned and warned the Dragon thus:
“The era of
colonial expansion is over; this is the era of evolution. Evolution is only
relevant in rapidly changing times. In the previous centuries, expansionism has
done the greatest harm to humanity and has tried to destroy humanity. The
expansion has always posed a threat to world peace. The whole world now had
made up its mind against the policy of expansion.”
Still India hopes
for better days ahead vis-à-vis China.
As Music of Flute of Lord Krishna is started reverberating in
Our Holy Himalayas loud and clear cheering our Jawans to bestow them with valour to crown Our Bharath Mata with Victory, I hope that Dragon dares not attack Bharat
again.
Dragon knows in case of its any misdeed, Music of Krishna's
Flute will be replaced with Fiery Sound of Krishna's Sudarsan Chakra against it.
Hence Dragon knows that any of its dubious and treacherous
peace talks/agreements will be answered forcefully by Indian army.
Let Mutual Trust and Faith bring two Nations together.
On Holy Purnima Day 5th July 2020 let both Nations take a pledge of peace and
prosperity.
Let Lord Buddha and Sage Vyasa be the guide for both Nations.
Let real spirit of Indo-Cheeni Bhai Bhai be revived for the benefits of both in particular and World in
general.
Hail Vasudeva Kudumbham.
