(Meaning: Even those who do not care to guard anything must
guard their tongues. If they failed to do so, then they will suffer due to the
unguarded words from their tongues.)
In short, all problems of Rahul Gandhi – having Bails in about
7 Court cases - could be attributed to his unguarded tongue apart from his poor
understanding of the consequences that may befall due to utterances emanating
from such tongue. Added to that, Rahul suffers from poor stock of vocabularies
in debates, discussions and public speeches.
Rahul’s deficiencies in dealing with his party men and his
party’s policies were exposed on many occasions.
Arnab’s famous interview of Rahul Gandhi before Lok Sabha Election 2014 was the beginning of the exposure of his lack of understanding of the questions and their intents, as he was seen answering like a parrot repeating the words – “Women Empowerment” for all Arnab’s posers.
In the midst of his Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi remarked
about his image: "Rahul Gandhi is in your mind. I have killed him. He is
not there. Not in my mind at all. He's gone. Gone. Read Hindu scriptures. Read
about Shiv-Ji (Lord Shiva), you will understand. Don't be shocked. Rahul Gandhi
is in your head, not mine. He is in the BJP's head, not mine.” – If you can
decipher his speech and understand, then Pappu Rahul is your friend,
philosopher and guide!
Earlier Rahul was telling that “he will install a machine that if fed potato, will give gold in return"!.
Apart from such idiotic and foolish statements of Rahul, he
was also equally responsible for uttering unsubstantiated allegations about
Modi and His Government.
Rahul was equally famous for his many defamatory speeches especially about our Prime Minister Modi on many occasions.
‘His oft repeated utterances: ‘I WILL NOT TENDER APOLOGY’’ were breached on two occasions as of now:
(1) 14-Nov-2019:: Rahul Gandhi tendered an unconditional Apology to SC for the "Chowkidar Chor Hai" remark against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rahul Gandhi said the comment was made in the heat of campaigning.
(2) 10 March 2020:: Rahul tendered an unconditional apology to
SC in the Rafale Contempt case.
There is a third contempt proceeding pending against Rahul Gandhi for his election rally speech wherein he accused the RSS of killing Mahatma Gandhi. The SC bench was hearing an appeal filed by Rahul seeking quashing of a criminal defamation case ordered by a magisterial court in Bhiwandi in Maharashtra for a public speech in which he had linked the RSS to Gandhi's killing.
The SC observed in this defamation case as under:
"We have held it may be historically correct but the fact or the statement has to meet the test of public good. You can't make collective denunciation.
"Freedom is not crippled or curbed. What is curbed is defamatory speech.
"What we have to see is whether the petitioner's allegations come under Section 499 (defamation) of IPC or not. Judgement is already there. You have to face trial, if you don't express regret."
But, the Congress, on behalf of Rahul, said that he will not tender an apology and will instead substantiate them with historical facts and evidence before the court to support his claim.
In all probability, Rahul may tender apology for the third time to SC – losing his political image. I like to draw your attention to Rahul’s quote: “I had killed Rahul’s Political Image !”
There are 7 cases of defamatory hate speeches filed in various courts by various persons at different courts waiting for final judgements and Rahul had already ‘KILLED’ his political status, career and future – knowingly or unknowingly – or foolishly – This is a clear case of ‘DIGGING HIS OWN GRAVE OF POLITICAL CAREER.’
In line with his thinking of “I Don’t Care for My Political Image”, Rahul had titled himself as ‘Unfortunate Member of Parliament’ in public in the august presence of one of his mentors Congress leader Jairam Ramesh and said:
“I would like to go into the details with you. Unfortunately
I'm a Member of Parliament...and I'm hopeful that I will be allowed to speak in
Parliament.
The most vulgar and unpardonable remarks of Rahul comparing 'Make in India' with 'Rape in India' have crossed all limits.
While addressing the Bharat Bachao Rally on December 14, the Congress leader had refused to apologize for his 'Rape in India' remark. Rahul said, "I was told by the BJP in Parliament yesterday, 'Rahul Ji, you gave a speech. Apologize for that.' I was told to apologize for something which is right. My name is not Rahul Savarkar. My name is Rahul Gandhi. I will never apologize for truth."
By this remark and his another similar one – India is Rape
Capital, he portrayed Indian men as Rapists and it seems Rahul was inviting
foreigners to come, rape in India !
Dragging the name of Savarkar had antagonized both Sarath Pawar of NCP and Uddhav Thackeray of Erstwhile Shiv Sena and in order to keep Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (Maharashtra Development Front ) from breaking, it seems that Congress High Command promised to both Pawar and Uddhav that Rahul will not hereafter utter Savarkar name which is tantamount to regret and apology.
But Indira Gandhi – Grand Mother of Rahul - had condoled Veer Savarkar’s death. Moreover, she ordered a stamp to be issued in his honour after his death in 1966.
Furthermore, she had instructed the Ministry of Information
and Broadcasting Ministry to create a documentary on his life. It was further
reported that she gave a personal grant of Rs11,000 to the Savarkar Memorial in
Mumbai.
Rahul Gandhi had an interview with reporters at the IJA event in London.
In his UK Interview, Rahul, the Wayanad MP said that there is no longer any democracy in India.
“How would you react if democracy suddenly disappeared in Europe? They would be shocked and say this is a massive blow to democracy. How would you react if a structure three and a half times the size of Europe suddenly became undemocratic (referring to India)? That has already happened. It won’t happen in the future, it has already happened,” he said.
Rahul’s accusation of Indian Democracy in a foreign soil was undemocratic, anti-national and defamatory in nature. BJP wanted Rahul to tender an apology for his remarks in UK before he was allowed to speak in Lok Sabha – but, as usual Rahul was defiant to do so.
In the process, both the houses of parliament could not function.
Now let me briefly bring forth the facts about Rahul’s punishment by Surat Court on 23rd March for his defamatory speech in 2019 in Kolar, Karnataka.
Rahul Gandhi in an election meeting at Karnataka’s Kolar on April 13, 2019 ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections was seen telling the audience that:
“Why all the thieves, be it Nirav Modi, Lalit Modi or Narendra Modi, have Modi in their names.”
Purnesh Modi, a member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, had filed a complaint under Sections 499 and 500 of the Indian Penal Code in a Surat Court and had stated that Rahul, the Congress leader had defamed every person who carried the surname ‘Modi’.
Chief Judicial Magistrate H.H. Varma of Surat Court on March 23 convicted Congress
leader Rahul Gandhi in this criminal defamation case to two years’
imprisonment. However, the judge granted him bail and gave him a month to
appeal against the decision in a higher court.
Rahul was sentenced under IPC two sections viz. Section 499 which deals with defamation and Section 500 which deals with punishment for defamation.
Rahul Gandhi was convicted under IPC Section 500 and the maximum possible punishment under this section is two years.
A two-year imprisonment for Rahul Gandhi technically attracts disqualification from Lok Sabha under Section 8(3) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
In the course of argument Rahul Gandhi’s lawyer pleaded in the Court for the minimum punishment i..e. less than 2 years, but the Court was not ready to buy his pleas and the court, in its order, said: “Rahul Gandhi has been previously advised by the Supreme Court to be careful about his statements but there is no change in his conduct. Rahul Gandhi is a sitting MP and as an MP, when you’re addressing the public, it is a serious issue. Statements of MPs have a very wide impact and this makes his crime more serious.
“Lesser punishment will send a wrong message to the public and
the purpose of defamation will not be achieved.”
Rahul Gandhi, who was present in the court as the verdict was
read, tweeted after the sentencing and wrote: “My religion is based on truth
and non-violence. Truth is my God and non-violence is a way to achieve it.”
Immediately on the Surat’s Court order convicting Rahul, Modi Government was swift in taking two actions:
1. Lok Sabha Secretariat by its notification dated the 24th March 2023 declared that Rahul Gandhi stands disqualified as Waynad MP from the date of his conviction i.e.23rd March 2023.
2. Lok Sabha Secretariat by its letter dated 27th March 2023
asked Rahul to vacate his bungalow No. 12, Tughlak Lane by 22-04-2023 – i.e. within a
month’s time.
To my mind the above two notices should have been avoided by the Modi Government on the following grounds:
Just listen to the above video in Tamil wherein Rangaraj Pandey Interviews BJP Rama Seenivasan On Rahul's Disqualification.
BJP Rama Seenivasan is a professor and his debates/ speeches/ interviews would be meaningful, forceful, forthright and appealing. But here in this video, Rama Seenivasan could not answers many direct questions. This had triggered my thoughts.
There seems to be valid reasons to prove Rahul's MP seat revocation are not to be done, as the judgement is operative only after 30 days to give Rahul time to appeal ect.
Hence notice served to Rahul to vacate his accommodation and snatching his MP seat plus not permitting Rahul to speak in Lok Sabha are against natural justice.
Haste by Modi government pains me and should have been avoided. Modi government should have been more prudent and more judicious in acting on the Surat judgement.
Modi Government should have waited till 22nd April 2023 and
then take suitable actions on the Surat Court’s conviction depending upon the
judgement on Rahul’s appeal.
Surat Judge had clearly said that ‘I am giving 30 days’ time for Rahul to act’. Hence Rahul Conviction of 2 years Jail Term of Surat Court will be operative only after 30 days.
Here Rahul wins a point.
Modi Government may be politically right in these two notices, but, not judiciously.
Yet Rahul failed to get our sympathy due to his belligerent anti-national mindset and poisonous mind especially his remarks of equating “Make in India” to “Rape in India”.
His Mummy had said to Her Pappu: Power is Poison.
But E-Touch wants to say: Pappu Rahul is Poison.
JAI HO BHARAT.
