PUBLICATION OF A TAMIL BOOK TITLED ‘VALLUVAM’ WRITTEN BY JAYANTHINATHAN – EDITOR, E-TOUCH


It is a collection of 31 articles written by the author in analysing the various aspects of topics  as sung by the  saintly poet Thiruvalluvar. 

When the book was published last month, my sister’s son and our reader and contributor Shri Shankar Krishnan, residing at Bhopal, had thought of releasing the book at the function to be held on 21st April 2024  to celebrate Tamil New year jointly organised by Tamil Sangam Bhopal and  Kala Kendra Bhopal. Amongst many cultural events, Valluvam Book was released by Shri Ramanathan ED BHEL. Shri Sivakumar Bose CGM RBI and Shri Mukundan Delhi Tamil Sangam received the first copy of the book.  

This was made possible, as Shri Shankar Krishnan is the Secretary of Tamil Sangam, Bhopal.

TAMIL NEW YEAR CELEBRATION BY TAMIL SANGAM, KALA KENDRA & NAVA SHAKTI PEETH  -  Release of Tamil book titled "THIRUVALUVAM " written by Shri S. Sankaran Editor of E Touch & Vaimai..  The Tamil new year program organised by Tamil Sangam, Bhopal on 21st April 2024.  It is very happy moment to us that the  honourable Shri S M Ramanathan ED BHEL Bhopal was a chief Guest , Shri Siva kumar Bose Chief General manager RBI, Shri Chandrashekhar Ex GM BHEL  ,Shri. Mukundan, Delhi and other eminent Guests attended the function.   The light music program was presented by artists from Chennai & Delhi.           

They delivered new and Old Tamil Songs which kept the audiance spell bound. THEMANGU the traditional Tamil dance rendered by Shri Rajkumar & group.                         

The high light of the event is a Tamil Book Titled `VALLUVAM'  a book based on Thirukural written by Shri Jayanthinathan{S. Sankaran) by the hands of Shri Ramanathan ED BHEL. Shri Sivakumar Bose CGM RBI and Shri Mukundan Delhi Tamil Sangam received the first copy of the book.  The book and the author's effort for bringing a beautiful book was appreciated by the people on dais and off the dais  With warm regards   K. An English News Paper had also published about the release of ‘Valluvam’ – Tamil Book written by the author of E-Touch with the following  message: “The highlight of the program was the unveiling of a Tamil book titled ‘Valluvam’ based on Thirikural, written by Jayanthinathan (S. Sankaran) at the hands of ED BHEL.” 

The entire credits should go to Shri Shankar Krishnan, Secretary, Bhopal Tamil Sangam.

Nithyashree Mahadevan , Aruna Sairam , OS Arun , Unnikrishnan , Anuradha Shriram , Tippu & Saindhavi – names that you’re most familiar with Carnatic music who are supposed to be a role model for younger generatons .  The above mentioned singers  stooped down to the lowest level possible. They all signed up to sell their music, Thyagaraja Kirthanas to christian mission by simply changing few words and singing in praise of Jesus. It is highly condemnable that they chose to replace the word Rama with Yesu and sang all the kirthanas . It is that same Rama and Krishna who showered their blessings and made them popular and these scumbags have decided to sell our kirthanas to churches who will use them ONLY to do more conversion.
