RAHUL AS LEADER OF OPPOSITION - LAMB OR LION

Rahul Gandhi is now Leader of Opposition Party – LOP with Congress Party winning 99 MP seats thereby eligible for the status of leader of opposition.  INDI-Alliance  (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) headed by Congress had secured 232 MP seats.  As the BJP could not get 272 seats – half way mark to have a majority of its own like in its first two terms of 2014 and 2019 - but stuck with 240 MP seats thereby to depend upon its allies which secured 53 seats for its survival.

Though NDA had a comfortable majority of 293 seats and all its major allies like Mr. Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party with 16 seats, Mr. Nitish Kumar ‘s Janata Dal United with 12 seats, Chirag Paswan’s Lok Jana Sakthi Party with 5 seats (which makes a total seat of 273 seats – 1 seat above half way mark of 272) – not to speak of 20 seats of other BJP allies are solidly behind Modi Sarkar – despite INDI-Alliance parties hoping for some splits and problems for Modi – but nothing happened and nothing will be allowed to happen in future. Like Modi Guarantees, it is Modi Magic.  Arithmetic is also quite favourable for Modi Sarkar in all possible ways without leaving anything for the play of Political Chemistry.

Still, Congress party and its alliance partners want to exploit the BJP’s position in not having majority of its own in and out of Parliament – both in Lok Sabha and in Rajya Sabha. In the days to come, it seems that the confrontation and turmoil from Rahul Congress will become bad to worst.

Parliaments are meant for healthy debates but the coming days may witness more and more demonstrations, displays of placards, shouting from the well of the house etc.   It is worrisome and disheartening to watch Rahul Gandhi as LOP instigating Opposition MPs to enter the well of the Lok Sabha to protest with a view to disturb PM’s speech in Lok Sabha.

Above all Rahul Gandhi speaking on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address to the joint sessions had the audacity to label the Hindus as VOILENT AND LIARS TWENTYFOUR HOURS.

Rahul Gandhi as LOP in Lok Sabha had roared like a mad guy full throated as under:

People who call themselves Hindus are always indulged in violence and lies.

Hindus are violent and liars twenty-four hours which statement he repeated many times – violent three times and liars three times and accused the Hindus being such for 24 hours.

Hence Rahul Gandhi called the entire Hindu Community – or at least Hindus Community who voted Modi to power as Violent and Liars 24 hours.

The readers should watch the relevant video the link of which is given here:

Rahul had displayed his arrogance, all out hatred towards Hindu Community.

His wearing of Sacred Thread and Declaring of his gotra were all gimmicks   for votes and votes alone.

Rahul Gandhi wanted to label himself as a true non-hatred, non-liar Hindu directly and indirectly.

In sum, if you vote Rahul, you are eligible to call yourself as Hindus and otherwise a Big NO. His logic is purely political, treacherous and hatred in their pure forms.

Readers might have forgotten what Rahul said about RSS, Savarkar, BJP around the year 2019 or earlier for which I request the readers to listen to Rahul’s Devil Like Avatar. Kindly click the link furnished in the next page slide and listen yourself to know how he behaved – full of venoms and hatred towards his opponents with no plausible logic or   reason or evidence. In this video Rahul was furious and roaring like a lion in his accusations in most foul language. His body language speaks volumes and I like to remind the readers that the audience was Muslims crowd supporting Congress.

Rahul is still Prime Minister Hopeful and there are quite a few people who want him to rule India. We are doubtful whether is it due to Love of Rahul or purely motivated by hatreds of Modi? Either way it is inimical to India which we proudly proclaim as BHARAT.

Awakened India and New India had not given Modi a majority for BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha Election which had embolden Rahul to become still more belligerent and venomous and spreading lies after lies even in the floor of the house.

Though it is not a big task for BJP to tackle Rahul, but considerable time would be wasted in countering his unfounded and undemocratic accusations flouting the dignity and decorum of the House.

For Modi Haters, Rahul’s maiden performance as LOP in Lok Sabha on 1st July 2024 which was watched by his mother Sonia and his sister Priyanka from the gallery, may be hailed as a best performance – equating Rahul as A ROARING LION. But his opponents especially BJP may paint Rahul AS A LAME LAMP MASQUARADING AS A LION.

But, to give some credits to Rahul as he is now a LOP, let me give a brief summary of what Rahul spoke in the floor of the house – his first long speech of about 100 minutes as against Modi’s reply on the next day lasting about 120 minutes.

1.   Holding up pictures of Lord Shiva, Guru Nanak and Jesus Christ, he referred to Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism, Christianity, Buddhism and Jainism to underline the importance of fearlessness. He also cited the attributes of Lord Shiva and teachings of Guru Nanak, Jesus Christ, Buddha and Mahavir to state that all religions and great people of the country have said “daro mat, darao mat (do not be scared, do not scare others)”.  (Though Speaker Om Birla reminded Rahul that rules do not allow displaying placards in the House, this was ignored by him.)

 2.   All our great men have spoken about non-violence and eliminating fear... But, those who call themselves Hindu only talk about violence, hatred, and untruth. You are not Hindu at all (Aap Hindu ho hi nahi).

3.     Modi, BJP, and RSS do not represent the entire Hindu community.

4.   Defeat of the BJP in Ayodhya, Lord Ram's birthplace, was significant and Rahul shook hands with Awadhesh Prasad, the MP from Faizabad, who unseated the sitting BJP parliamentarian. "Lord Ram's birthplace gave a message to the BJP and the message is sitting in front of you," Rahul stated.

5.     The Agnipath scheme was labelled by Rahul as "use-and-throw labor" designed by PM Modi, not the armed forces. The NEET exam favoured wealthy students over the meritorious and the system perceived  was unfair for many aspirants. A reassessment of the exam is to be done to ensure it benefits all students, not just the affluent.

6.    Rahul said: "I was attacked on the orders of Prime Minister Modi. There were 20-plus cases against me, my house was taken away, 55 hours of interrogation by the ED."

7.    “BJP people are now repeating 'Jai samvidhan' after me" Rahul said. (Samvidhan means constitution.)

8.    "I am happy and proud to be in the opposition. For us, there is something more than power, it is the truth," Rahul said.

9.   For expunction of remarks by the Speaker, "Truth can be expunged in the world of Modi ji, but in reality, truth cannot be expunged," Gandhi said.

10.                     Rahul said: “It is not just one religion that talks about courage. All our religions talk about courage.” (It may looks as though Rahul was instigating non-Hindus against Hindus and vice vera thereby disturbing the religious harmonies amongst various religions.)

(Foot Note:

The expunged remarks were Hindus as they engage in violence and hate round the clock, accusations of unfair treatment of minorities, criticism of industrialists Adani and Ambani, claims that the NEET exam favours the wealthy over meritorious students, and allegations that the Agniveer Scheme originated from the Prime Minister’s Office, not the Indian Army.)

The uproar over Rahul Gandhi's statement about branding Hindus as violent and liars for 24 hours was so intense that PM Modi intervened for the first time since becoming an MP in 2014.  Prime Minister Modi, intervening during the speech, highlighted the gravity of Gandhi’s accusations, stating, “This issue is serious. Calling the entire Hindu community violent is a serious issue.”

During his hour-and-forty-minute speech, Rahul had faced  two interventions from Prime Minister Modi himself and interjections from at least five cabinet ministers. Home Minister Amit Shah demanded an apology from Gandhi, reflecting the high tension in the House. Added to these, Lok Sabha speaker had observed: "Paanch saal aise nahin chalegi (We cannot have five years of this)."

The Prime Minister observed:

1.      “President mentioned our vision for a 'Viksit Bharat' in her speech. She gave a direction to the country and I want to express my gratitude. Many expressed this opinion, especially first-time MPs - those who followed the rules and their conduct was that of experienced MPs."

2.      "I can understand the pain of some people... even after spreading lies they tasted defeat. People of India have given us the opportunity to work for the third time... have given us a mandate."

3.      "This country has seen politics of appeasement but we did politics of satisfaction and not appeasement. 'Justice to all, appeasement to none' is our mantra.”

4.      "Congress and its allies ecosystem have made abusing Hindu culture a fashion. Their allies compare Hinduism to malaria and they clap."

5.      "This is the first time in Congress's history that they have not crossed the 100-seat mark three times in a row. This is the third biggest defeat in the history of Congress. It would have been better if Congress had accepted its defeat and respected the mandate of the people but they are busy doing some 'Sirsasana' and Congress and its ecosystem are trying to establish in the minds of the citizens of India that they have defeated us."

To conclude, some on witnessing Rahul First Performance as LOP had hailed him and exclaimed that ‘Rahul, at last, had come of age’!

But he is aging without any agile factor to be proud of. Merely attacking our Prime Minister personally day in and day out cannot yield any positive political advantage except a personal satisfaction of having critized the head of the state.

E-Touch strongly condemn Rahul Gandhi for his behaviour of non-adherence to the rules of Lok Sabha and his actions to encourage MPs to enter the well of the house to disturb and stop PM Modi from addressing the house.

E-Touch presents a Crown of Thorn to Rahul Gandhi – Leader of Opposition Party as a mark of condemnation.

At the same time, E-Touch honours Modi Ji for becoming our PM for the historic third consecutive term with a bouquet.
