Viksit bharat budget 2025

Developed Bharat Through Successive Budgets are set as the goal to achieve Fully Developed and Fully Self Reliant Nation by 2047 - India's 100 Years of Independence.

Make In India and Atmanirbhar Bharat become the clarion call of Modi Sarkar and one could see that the goal could be achieved by 2047 with the active support of 140 crore  public.

It is worthwhile to quote what Our Prime Minister had observed immediately after the presentation of budget 2025: 'Usually the Budget's focus remains on how to fill the government's treasury. However, this budget is aimed at achieving completely the opposite: as to how to fill the pockets of the citizens, how to increase their savings, and how to make them partners in the country's development.'

Yes, the income tax payers - viz. middle class were  given unbelievably great relief in their payment of income tax. There would be no income tax even if you earn ₹1 lac per month. No income tax upto ₹12,75,000/- (salary ₹12 lac + ₹75,000/- standard deductions). Further, the limit for tax deduction on interest for senior citizens doubled from ₹50,000/- to ₹ 1 lac. Again the present annual limit of ₹2.4 lacs for TDS (Tax Deduction at Source) on rent increased to ₹6 lacs. TCS - Tax Collection at Source - on remittances under RBI Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LBS) has been also been increased from ₹7 lac to ₹10 lac. If the remittance is for education purpose, NO TCS on it. In the realm of ease of doing business, this budget had stopped the collection of TDS from buyer and TCS from seller for the same transaction.

Thus the tax payers - both salaried middle class employees and business communities - will have tax savings of about ₹ 1 lac crore in direct taxes and ₹2600 crore in indirect taxes which will boost the demand and savings.

While there will be no income tax upto ₹12,75,000/-, even for those drawing ₹15 lacs and ₹30 lacs, taxes to be paid are ₹97500/- and ₹4,75,800/- only the benefits gained thereby compared to the existing one are ₹32,500/- and ₹1,14.400/- respectively. Hence every tax payers got benefits due to the rationalization of slab rates for taxable income.

Similarly many concrete steps had been taken in abolishing unnecessary clauses causing problems both for payers of taxes and collecting officials. Slashing multiple customs duties, reforms to lift investor mood, removing FDI cap for insurers etc. are some of them.

The notable move in the direction of Viksit Bharat is that every efforts are taken to make Bharat a food basket of the world. For the last 10 years during Modi's regime, there are no shortages in respect of food grains, pulses, fertilizers, gas cylinders, electricity cuts etc. During Covid time, Modi regime had exported free of cost food grains to various countries to tide over their difficulties. Here in India, Modi regime had given free supply of food grains to the needy during those Covid periods which were still continuing.

Infrastructures in respect of roads, airways, sea ways, railways are continue to grow fast and the time schedules are being strictly monitored and implemented.

Agriculture has also been taken care of and Kisan credit card subsidized loan limit increased to ₹5 lac.

Religious Tourism and Medical Tourism are being encouraged and massive steps of UDAN - Air Connectivity Scheme had added 120 destinations and adequate warehousing for cargo at the airports are also to constructed.

MSMEs - Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises - had got a fillip, as their investments and turnovers had revised to an unprecedented level as under:

q Micro Industries - ₹ 2,5 crore Investment & 10 crore annual turnover.

q Small Scale Industries - ₹ 25 crore investment & 100 crore annual turnover.

q Medium Scale Enterprises - ₹125 crore investment & ₹500 crore turnover.

The Central Government will set up a National Manufacturing Mission covering Small, medium and large industries for furthering Make in India by providing policy support, execution roadmaps, governance and monitoring frame work for Central Ministries and States.

The Budget had already envisaged increased seats in Medical & Engineering Colleges.

Space Technology, Defence Productions, Digital Technology including AI had also been given their due shares.

Street Vendors will be accommodated with UPI Credit Cards and the World is really wonderstruck with the success of our UPI Digital Payment System.  House for All,  Tap Water for All, Net Work for All are also in the budget.

In Short, every citizen got some benefits or other and still there will be pessimists amongst the public to expect more and more.

Leaving them aside, the Budget was welcomed by majority of the public and anything which needs attention and improvement will be definitely looked into, as the Modi Regime is public-opinion-centric.

At the same time, Modi Regime will not shy to take any bold decisions if that will bring Bharat Fame.

Let us hail Nirmala Seetharaman for her wonderful 8th Successive Budget bringing Joys to almost all.

JAI HO NIRMALA !
