Reader is fond of reading the Bhagavad Gita. He is now faced with doubts as to the real meaning of the three words – viz. yoga (the path of selfless action with devotion), sanyasa (renunciation) and tyaga (sacrifice or relinquishment). Reader is faced with the doubts mainly due to the conflicting definitions given in the Gita to sanyasa and tyaga. Reader explains his position as follows: Sanyasi has been defined as ‘one who discharges the duty without attachment to its fruits’ – in Chapter 6 – 1. It has also been stated therein that sanyasi is also a yogi. It is further clarified that sanyasi is not the one who has abandoned his duties such as lighting sacred fire and performance of rites. Now, let us turn to the definition of tyaga as expounded in Chapter 18 – 2. Tyaga is defined as ‘the abandonment of the fruits of all duties’, which is quite similar to the definition given to sanyasa. Gita has declared that sanyasa and yoga are one. Raghul Gandhi’s personal life may not be a concern for Indians, if he is an ordinary citizen. But, he was unofficially declared as the Prime Ministerial candidate and he is presently Vice-President of Grand Old Party - Indian National Congress. It is also a fact that even the President of the Congress Party is with Sonia Gandhi who is the mother of Raghul Gandhi. Nobody had dared to question why both the posts should be held by Mother-Son duo in spite of the great drubbing in the recently held Lok Sabha election - getting all time low seats of 44 - even not eligible to get the status of Leader of Opposition Party. Hence an insight of Raghul’s love affairs, his qualifications, his professions, etc.  gain relevance and importance. Raghul himself had said: "My girlfriend's name is Veronique not Juanita. SATYAMEVA JAYATHE In Modi's victory, we could see India had won.  Above all, Satyam had won.  Modi was attacked unceremoniously and in a most uncharitable way. Modi was attacked from front, back, left, right,  up and down and due to the grace of God and People's Good wishes and massive support , Modi could withstand these assaults and without losing courage and will, Modi has done his best to become the next Prime Minister of India. High Lights of Lok Sabha Results:   Best ever performance of BJP and First time a single party will form government on its own since 1984. Except in few seats, the victory margin is more than a lac. Worst ever performance of the Congress - 2 digits and that too below 50. Just a few seats above AIADMK. Congress scoring zero seat in 20 states. Congress is not even eligible to become the opposition party in Lok Sabha. BSP & DMK - zero.  SP, Lalu, JDU. JDUS, etc. scoring very low seats - single digit. AAP scoring 4 seats

It all started with a curiosity. I was just going through the list of Bharat Ratna awardees where I saw three of the six Nehru-Gandhi family members are in it.  Nehru got it in 1955, Indira got it in 1971 and Rajiv got it in 1991.  In Home ministry site there is a  note  which says Bharat Ratna is awarded in recognition of  exceptional service/performance of the highest order  in any field of human endeavour. The  recommendations for Bharat Ratna are made by the Prime Minister himself to the President.   Then I checked who the Prime Ministers were in 1955, 1971 and 1991.   PMO website  claims that Jawaharlal Nehru was the Prime Minister in 1955, Indira was in 1971. That naturally leads to these questions? 1.       Did Jawaharlal Nehru recommend himself for Bharat Ratna in 1955? 2.       Did Indira Gandhi recommend herself for Bharat Ratna in 1971? Anna had won in making the UPA 2 Government to pass Lokpal Bill in the two houses of Parliament which had ended his indefinite fast undertaken in his native village. Anna is quite modest in saying that ‘passing of this lokpal is not fool proof or end in itself, but, it is the first step which will be a check on the all round corruption in our Country to the extent of 40 to 50% and the success depends upon its actual implementation. AnnaPal is Lokpal and Lokayuktas Bill, 2011. ArvindPal is JanLokpal as drafted by civil societies. AnnaPal i.e. Lokpal and Lokayuktas Bill, 2011 was finally passed on 17th December 2013 in the Rajya Sabha and in the Lok Sabha on 18th December 2013. It is going to become an Act. It is a real positive step to put an end to the corruption prevalent in our government systems.
