Uri town in North Kashmir which is barely 6 km from the line of control, is the administrative base of the Army 10 Dogra where many of our Jawans were stationed in the tents and temporary shelters which were stormed by four heavily armed militants in the wee hours on Sunday the 18th September 2016 and 19 Jawans lost their lives and 19 other personnel were injured. It seems that IMPOSSIBLE is not in her Political Dictionary – India is blessed. Gurdip Singh was sentenced to death along with 13 others – Indonesians, Nigerians, Zimbabweans and Pakistanis. On July 29, 2016, 4 of the 10 including an Indonesian were executed by the Indonesian Firing Squad without giving no reasons about the non-execution of other convicts which amongst others include Gurdip Singh. Though there are many cases to prove ‘Congress Helps Terrorism for Secularism’ being their agenda, we like to confine only to two cases and in particular two persons – viz. Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and Colonel Shrikant Purohit . Before going into specifics, let us briefly narrate the two bomb blasts wherein both Pragya and Purohit were allegedly involved: 1. 2007 - February Samjhauta Express Bombings - 18 February 2007 - 68 people killed and dozens injured. Linked to Abhinav Bharat and in November 2008, Shrikant Purohit , an Indian army officer and member of Abhinav Bharat. Pragya was also brought into the picture as involved. 2. 2008 Malegaon II & Modasa blasts - on 29 September 2008 - 3 bombs exploded in states of Gujarat and Maharashtra killing 8 persons and injuring 80. On June 15, 2004, four suspected terrorists – viz. Javed Ghulam Sheikh ( Originally Pranesh Pillai , a Hindu converted  as Muslim and husband of Ishrat Jahan), Amjad Ali Rana and Zeeshan Johar and Ishrat – all suspected as Lashkar-e- Taiba ( LeT ) operatives involved in a plot to assassinate the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi were killed at Ahmedabad  by the Ahmedabad Police Crime Branch and members of the Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau (SIB) of Ahmedabad.  Ishrat and others were assessed as LeT operative  due to the categorical intelligence IB reports.   The IB comes under the Ministry of Home Affairs and hence any report from IB supposed to have the stamp of approval by the Ministry of Home Affairs – read the Home Minister – then Chidambaram.  An affidavit was filed in the Gujarat High court stating that all the four were terrorists.
