India had just now celebrated its most colourful and enjoyable Navathri – Dussera festivals for 10 days from the 21 st September to 30 th September 2017 – with the annihilation of evil forces represented by Ravana and his folks by Lord Rama and Lakshmana along with Rama’s most devoted Hanuman. It had made me to think that the author is against the progress of India - even to the extent of suggesting no party to get full majority in the forthcoming Lok Sabha election - hung assembly is the best solution! The Congress may have shied away from taking any clear line on the triple talaq issue, but some of the arguments made by senior leader and ace legal brain Kapil Sibal while arguing in favour of the practice may embarrass the party.  Sibal represented the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) in the triple talaq case in the Supreme Court. In fact, he had equated the issue of triple talaq with the belief that Lord Rama was born in Ayodhya , arguing that these were matters of faith which cannot be put to test on grounds of constitutional morality. Senior Congress leader cum lawyer Kapil Sibal , who is famous for his zero loss theory in the 2G scam, is all set to become famous for more theories. Currently, the senior advocate is a counsel for the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) in the ongoing triple talaq hearing at the Supreme Court. Nikha Muta is another obnoxious practice similar to Nikha Halala . Islam had not given any status for their women folks – they were being treated as chattel and commodity for sex and intercourse by males. Even to equate the sacred word Nikha with Muta – meaning simple Pleasure or Enjoyment and Halala – forcing divorced wife to have sex with another man to be eligible to take her back again as his wife – is by itself horrible and condemnable.   Muta Marriage in Islam is a temporary marriage for a fixed period for a consideration of money in the form of dowry.
