E-Touch remembers Shri R. Venkataraman , our eighth President of India on his 109 th Birth Anniversary on the 4 th December 2019 and pays its respects and pranams to ‘R.V.’ as he was affectionately addressed.  His ever smiling face was admired by all – even by the opposition parties and his clean habits and most honest political life would speak by themselves. Let us Salute All Indians – especially Hindus and Muslims accepting the Supreme Court verdict in a spirit of mutual trust. In a multi-religious, racial, linguistic and castes prominent population in India, a solution to such long standing vexatious dispute was not an easy task. Let us salute the Supreme Court to make it happen. Let us salute the BJP for having taken up the issue in all seriousness by including the construction of Ram Temple at the same place where the Babar Masjid stood in its manifesto since long. Let us salute the people of Bharat for having voted Modi – Shaw for the second time with massive majority so that they could venture to make the Mandir issue to its logical solution and the world leaders were wonder struck on seeing its successful ending of the most emotive religious issue in a democratic way. Maharashtra State Assembly Election 2019: The BJP – Shiv Sena alliance won 161 seats in total which is 16 seats more than the half-way mark of 145 seats to form the government.   BJP won 105 Seats   and Shiv Sena 56 seats   in the recently held Maharashtra   Assembly Eletion 2019. In 2014 Assembly election the position was BJP 122 seats whereas Shiv Sena 62 seats totaling 184 seats. Hence the fall of seats was 23 seats. One should note that in 2014 BJP and Sena fought each other and forged alliance only after the election results, whereas there was pre-poll alliance in this election of 2019.
