The Missing 54 Indian POWs

The Missing 54 are the soldiers and officers of Indian armed forces who have been given status of missing in action or killed in action in 1971 Indo-Pak war by government. But they are believed to be alive and imprisoned in various Pakistani jails though Pakistan have denied existence of any Indian POW's of 1971 Indo-Pak war.

There is strong evidence to suggest that they were captured alive and some or all of them still languish in Pakistani jails.
As Modi’s firm handling had resulted in handing over of our captured IAF Abhinandan, it is now  felt that Indra Gandhi while releasing 93,000 Pakistan POWs should have acted with prudence to get the return of 54 POWs or at least she should have gone to the depth of the problem to once for all to settle the issue by having access to the Pakistan Jail. Iron Lady Indira might not have the touch of humane heart in handling such a sensitive issue and the opposition parties were equally to be blamed. While Congi wants proof even if the IAF confirmed their military actions, their past records are not worthy of emulation.
Surgical Strike at Uri was continuously doubted by Congi and other opposition parties. But public was thrilled by the surgical strike which was reflected when they raised slogans: How is Josh – Very High, Sir.

At the time of the Pulwama Terrorist attack which killed our 44 jawans, some anti-national fringe elements had raised slogans like: How is Jaish – Very High, Sir – directly praising Terrorist attack by Jaish-e-Mohammed, a terrorist organisation operating from Pakistan. Even Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy raised objections of the Indian Nationals celebrating Successful Surgical Strike 2.0 (Balakot Strike). Is it wrong to congratulate our Jawans for their successful missions?
We cannot expect any thing better from such Vote Bank Mind Set politicians and Country is suffering from such spineless administrators. Let New India show them their place at the time of election.
