Murugan’s Birth Day – 25th May 2021

 

Lord Muruga is the second son of Lord Shiva, born out of his third eye in the form of fierce fire sparkles. As the intensity of the fire was unbearable even for the Gods, the sparks of the fire were dunked into the river to cool down. That mighty river is called “Saravana Poigai”, which dispersed the spark into six different sparkles.

Each spark then incarnated as a child, which was raised by the celestial maidens, known as “karthigai Pengal”. Goddess Parvati then unified all the children into one single male child, and thus Lord Muruga has twelve hands, six faces in him.

Lord Muruga is defined as a very beautiful, charming and divine personality, with great knowledge and wisdom.

“Skanda Purana” describes Lord Muruga as highly intellectual, and how he taught even Lord Shiva, the meaning of “Pranava Mantra”. He is full of valor and also heads the army of Devas. Overall, he is a manifestation of charm, grace, power, devotion, and benevolence.

Six different faces of Lord Muruga denote six different attributes.

v  First Face: Emits glorious rays of light to remove the darkness that encapsulates the world.

v  Second Face: Showers gracious blessings with benevolence upon his devotees.

v  Third Face: Maintains tradition by watching Brahmins and other priests performing rituals and protecting Sanathana Dharma

v  Fourth Face: It is the mystical knowledge and wisdom which governs the world

v  Fifth Face: The amulet, which protects the people from negativity

v  Sixth Face: Shows love and kindness towards all his devotees

Nithyashree Mahadevan , Aruna Sairam , OS Arun , Unnikrishnan , Anuradha Shriram , Tippu & Saindhavi – names that you’re most familiar with Carnatic music who are supposed to be a role model for younger generatons .  The above mentioned singers  stooped down to the lowest level possible. They all signed up to sell their music, Thyagaraja Kirthanas to christian mission by simply changing few words and singing in praise of Jesus. It is highly condemnable that they chose to replace the word Rama with Yesu and sang all the kirthanas . It is that same Rama and Krishna who showered their blessings and made them popular and these scumbags have decided to sell our kirthanas to churches who will use them ONLY to do more conversion.
