Meaning of March Song is as follows:

 1. Keep stepping, stepping forward,

keep singing songs of happiness!

Your life belongs to the people,

spend it in their servitude!

2. Move forward, you, the lion of India,

don't ever be afraid of death.

By blowing off the enemy's head,

raise the spirits of your nation!

3. Repeat of 1st Song.

4. May your courage be ever increasing,

may God keep listening to you.

Whoever stands in your way,

may he/she turn into ash!

5. Repeat of 1st Song.

6. Shout "to Delhi",

holding the banner of your people,

plant it on the Red Fort,

let it fly, let it fly!

7. Repeat of 1st Song.

The motto can be easily read on the badges, which are conserved at different museums.

In fine, while Bose had instigated the Indian Soldiers to revolt against British Rule for Azad, Gandhi had mobilized Indian masses to oppose British Rule by Non-Cooperation through Non-Violence Satyagraha.

Both Gandhiji and Bose were great freedom fighters in their own perceptions and ideals.

JAI HIND was the common bond of battle cries of Gandhian Freedom Fighters and Bose’s Azad Army.
