  Maha Vikas Aghadi Government – Three Parties of Shiv Sena, National Congress Party and Congress Alliance Government – had become Parties of Maha Scam Parties as openly alleged by Param Bir Singh in his letter to CM – Maharashtra Government implicating Anil Deshmukh as Vasool Minister via Sachin Vaze – Mumbai Police Officer now under police custody and investigation. This festival is associated with 'Bhishma Pitamaha', the grandsire of the epic Mahabharata'. Bhishma is known as the legendary king of Mahabharata whom Lord Krishna praised as the Lords of the lord. Bhishmashtami i.e Bhishma Ashtami,is the festival which is celebrated on the twenty-third day of Magha (Jan-Feb) and eighth lunar day of the light half (waxing phase of the moon)and it has special and traditional origin. During the war of Kurukshetra, Bhishma had to enter the war on the side of Kauravas. As there were defeat after defeat, prince Duryodhana of Kauravas, suspected the behaviour of Bhishma Pitamaha.   Maha Shivaratri means ‘Great Night for Lord Shiva’. That Night was Great because it was the birthday of Lord Shiva, the marriage day of Lord Shiva and Sakthi Devi Parvathi and also the day of His Cosmic Dance of Creation, Preservation and Destruction. According to Indian Mythology, in the midnight of Maha Shivaratri, Lord Shiva was appeared in the form of Linga and hence the devotees worship Shiva Linga during Shivaratri with vilva leaves. Further Maha Shivaratri is considered the day when Adi Yogi or the first Guru awakened Shiva’s consciousness at the material level of existence. On the completion of earth’s creation, when Goddess Parvati asked Lord Shiva which was his most favorite day, Lord Shiva replied that Shivaratri is his favorite day.
