Satyameva Jayathe: Jaya Jaya Sankara – Hara Hara Sankara
(Published in E-Touch Family Magazine - May 2016 issue)
While Sankararaman
murder occurred in Kanchipuram Varadharaja Perumal Temple premises on 3rd September 2004, the alleged assault of
auditor Radhakrishnan, his
wife Jayashree and
assistant Krishnan happened on 20th September 2002 and in both these
incidents, police booked both Jayendra Saraswati and Vijendra Saraswati, the seers of the Kanchi Mutt
and were also arrested and put them behind bars. Along with them many were
accused and proceeded by the Tamilnadu Police.
Both the cases were initiated by
Jayalalithaa, when she was the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu. It was opined that the arrest of the
Hindu seers was seen as a political mileage to improve her secular image to
reach out to Muslim, Christian and Dalit Voters. This is one ingenious way of
appeasement vote bank politics. This highly vindictive and malicious acts of
Jayalalithaa – using – rather misusing blatantly the government
machineries were quite evident from day
one, when one goes through the proceedings of these cases and threats
perceptions of many witnesses. Let not E-Touch go into details, as everything
are quite available – if any one wants to verify and learn the details thereof.
E-Touch wants to bring to the notice of
our readers that following the arrest of the seers,
former
prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former president R. Venkataraman and
leaders from different political parties held a protest in New Delhi condemning
the arrest.
R. Venkataraman was
identified by the political pundits as Jayalalithaa’s advisor and in that
background, his spontaneous anger towards Jayalalithaa’s action needed to be
looked into. How much he might have wounded in his mind needed no emphasis and
equally Atal Bihar Vajpayee. ‘Power corrupts and Absolute power corrupts
absolutely’ fit very much to our Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Selvi J.Jayalalithaa.
Arrogant Attitudes towards people and policy seem to be Jayalalithaa’s Waterloo
any time in the near future, unless she changes her tracks.
It is a great relief for the Kanchi
Seers and others who were set free and acquitted from all charges in respect of both the cases
and equally so for E-Touch as well. E-Touch wants to share its feelings that
Hindus – especially Brahmins had miserably failed our Seers at the time of
their turmoil to raise up to the occasion in protest in Tamilnadu in a
passive – but effective manner, when the Seers were arrested unjustly - as it was proved by the Court of Law
now.
THINK INDIA THINK.
