The Hindu - A simple calculation Error
SATYAMEVA
JAYATHE:
Hindu Newspaper’s soft corner towards Rahul was
clearly revealed, when the newspaper reported ‘One-question-a-day’ series of
Congress Vice-President
Rahul Gandhi in respect of price rise which is his 7th Question.
Rahul indicated 6 items pertaining to gas cylinders,
daal, tomato, onions, milk and diesel wherein according to him, there were
price increases, but, in mentioning the percentage increase, Rahul had gone
terribly wrong – an error of 100% in all these 6 items.
THIS 100% MISTAKE IS ‘A
SIMPLE’ CALCULATION ERROR for the Hindu.
Is 100% error SIMPLE? Perhaps the Hindu, due to its
supporting mind set towards Gandhi Family, even 100 points error is SIMPLE
ERROR and not SERIOUS ERROR.

Chamcha and Jalra Hindu of Gandhi Family had its own
mathematical calculations in deciding the errors of Rahul – the present head.
When it comes to others – particularly BJP – even actual simple error will be
reported as HIMALYAN BLUNDER!
Leave alone the error, Rahul’s tweet on this ‘simple’
calculation error is really funny.
Rahul tweets thus: MISTAKES MAKE LIFE INTERESTING!
And still worst, Rahul in the same tweet said: Please
do keep it coming, it really helps me to improve!
That is tantamount to say: I will continue to make
mistakes as BJP is there to point out the mistakes to help me to know them!
One cannot fathom the thoughts of Rahul and Rahul
dreams he is the PM-Waiting!
This Tweet of his: Mistakes Make Life Interesting – is
more funny than his earlier statement of ‘POVERTY IS THE STATE OF MIND’

The Hindu News Paper reporting on 06-12-2017:
When Rahul Gandhi got his calculation wrong
BJP
highlights error on social media
In one-question-a-day
series, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday raised the issue of
inflation and price rise. His tweet, however, was derided on social media for a simple
calculation error.
To highlight the
22-year rule of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Gujarat, Mr.
Gandhi started the question series under the hashtag, Gujarat
Maange Jawab (Gujarat
demands answers).
In the seventh edition
of this series, he questioned price rise in the last three years. He demanded
to know if the BJP government is only for the rich. To bolster his claim, he
tweeted a table with figures showing the percentage rise in prices of gas
cylinders, daal, tomato, onions, milk and diesel.
BJP
has a field day
However, all the
percentages were inflated by 100 points on that table. That is, the table said,
for example, dal prices have risen to ₹80 a kilo from ₹45 a kilo. That’s a
percentage rise of 77%, but the table tweeted by Mr. Gandhi’s account showed a
rise of 177% .
The BJP had a field
day on social media, highlighting the error in Mr. Gandhi’s tweets.
Realising the mistake,
within minutes Mr. Gandhi deleted the old tweet.
Tweet with wrong Calculation which was deleted subsequently
with fresh altered one:
Corrected Version after deleting the wrong one by Rahul:
Rahul’s Interesting Tweet:
For all my BJP friends: unlike Narendrabhai, I am human. We
do make the odd mistake and that’s what makes life
interesting. Thanks for pointing it out and please do keep it
coming, it really helps me improve. Love you all.
Poverty is a State of Mind Remark by Rahul:
Gandhi said poverty is just
a state of mind and does not mean scarcity of food, money or material things,
adding that one needs to have self-confidence to overcome poverty. During
August 2013
The Congress leader uttered these words while speaking in a
discourse named 'Culture, Deepening Democracy and Most Marginalised
Communities', organised by Badri Narayan, a noted social scientist. He cited
the example of a poor woman in Amethi, who 'redeemed her self-esteem' by
getting involved with a SHG named after Rahul's father, late prime minister
Rajiv Gandhi. The Congress vice-president said his only political purpose is to
hear the voice of the poor and the marginalised. What was Rahul trying to
convey is difficult to understand. He is a leader of a party which has
influenced the course of this country for most of the post-independence era and
with the nation about to complete 66 years of independence, he is saying that
poverty is just a state of mind? What can be more hilarious than this
explanation? If poverty is a state of mind Mr Rahul Gandhi, then the
socialistic idealism that your great-grandfather had followed in those
formative years was also a state of mind and it led to nowhere. If poverty is
indeed a state of mind, then why not start psychological counselling for the
poor in the country.
