Markaz Nizamuddin Delhi Mosque’s Islamic Congregation of Tablighi Jamaat in spite of Lockdown

Head of Markaz Mosque at Nizamuddin, Delhi is Maulana Saad who had defied Central Government’s directives to follow the rules to contain the Pandemic Corona Virus being spread due to the Islamic Congregation of Tablighi Jammat. No Permission Sought For Tablighi Jamaat Gathering, Says Delhi Police.

It is necessary to know about Tablighi Jammat. Jammat is an Islamic missionary movement to urge Muslims to practice the Islamic religion as it was practiced during the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad particularly in matters of ritual, dress and personal behavior.

Majority of its followers mostly from South Asia is estimated to have around 200 million spread over approximately 200 countries.

It began as an offshoot of the Deobandi Movement in India, but, it had grown as as a fertile breeding ground for radical militancy in numerous countries.

Kejriwal Government had banned the gathering of more than 50 persons at one place back on March 16 i.e. well before March 24 Lockdown as announced by Modi for 21 days. Further even from 13 March, Kejriwal  had prohibited all sports gathering, seminars having 200 or more people.

But, Markaz Congregation was reported to be attended by a large gathering of more than 2000 people .  As on March 21-  216 foreigners and 1530 Indians were reported to have attended. Moreover, 824 foreigners who had spread out across the nation for various Tablighi  Jamaat activities are currently being screened and quarantined. Apart from these individuals, 2137 persons have been identified in different states and have been quarantined.  The process of identifying of Markaz attendees  is still going on with no positive co-operations from those Muslims Brethren.

Further most of foreigner attendees are nationals from Indonesia, Malaysia and Bangladesh. The Home Ministry had blacklisted around 800 Islamic preachers for violating visa rules by visiting India on a tourist visa and attended the above Islamic religious conference. These preachers were found staying at the Banglewali Masjid, which is near to the Conference Mosque.

And above all, many foreign Tablighi  delegates to Nizamuddin Conference came from nations which have banned Tabligh like Uzbeckistan, Kashagstan etc.

Delhi Police, after having noticed gross violation of precautions to be taken such as Social Distancing, Masks Wearing, Hand Wash, Quarantine of Suspected Corona victims etc. , had pleaded with Maulana Saad to vacate the Markaz, but, could not succeed. It was also came to notice that nine attendees from Telegana were found to be Corona positive sounding the seriousness of evacuation of all from Markaz Mosque.

Home Ministry had sent NSA Doval for the task of emptying Markaz and also to get them to be tested for Covid-19 infection and be quarantined. At that time itself, there were about 2355 members of Tablighi Jamaat, when the Doval Operation was initiated.   The operation was completed within 36 hours on March 28 – 29. Kudos to Home Minister and Doval for the successful completion of their evacuation mission inspire of belligerent and militant minded Islamic crowd.

Maulana Saad is now reported to be absconding and untraceable as per Delhi Police.  Meanwhile, Delhi Police had registered FIR against Tablighi Jamaat Preacher Maulana Saad and other members of the outfit under section 3 of the Epidemic Diseases Act (1897) for organizing the congregation at the time of severe lockdown amidst the Wuhan Corona Virus outbreak.

In a video, Markaz Chief was reported to have urged Muslims to defy lockdown as under:

"Can any doctors save you from this disease which has claimed 70,000 lives and turned them into angels? If Allah says that 70000 angels have been taken in his care then how can any power in the world do anything against this? This is not the time to spread fear or untouchability. This is not the time to listen to doctors and forego prayers. meeting each other. To remove this situation bring out all the women, children, animals. Remember, none of us can counter Allah’s will or nature," says the voice – presumably belonging to Saad.

Saad’s other observation:

"There is nothing wrong with quarantining those who have already shown symptoms of the disease. But to say, Muslims should not meet with each other? This is oppression. Try to get everyone towards Allah and encourage them to focus on prayers.“

With such belligerent open revolt like speeches and directives, the Police and other enforcing forces are facing serious and violent protests in performing their duties of verification of Delhi Mosques Attendees, Testing for Corona Virus etc.  A search party was fired upon for searching Markaz attendees in Madhubani. Even doctors and police were attacked by Muslim Community in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, when officials went to look for suspected patients who attended the Markaz. Even misbehavior of suspected Muslims Corona Virus in UP hospital towards Female Nurses and Doctors were reported forcing the UP Government to withdraw all Females Government Employees from those hospitals. 

As many as 1225 People, who returned from Tablighi Jamaat event in Delhi have been identified, 1033 have been located. 738 people quarantined and out of them 7 have tested positive for Coronavirus till now and it is counting.  110 persons in Tamilnadu who had attended Nizamuddin Markaz congregation was tested positive for Corona.  Now after Maharashtra, Tamilnadu is second highest Corona affected State with 400+  – though fortunately, the death was 3 persons.

Some Leftists Organizations and JNU Leftist Students Wing who supported Islamists spearheading anti-CAA protests stand in solidarity with Tablighi Jamaat super spreaders with their demand to revoke FIR against Saad and others calling it ‘Islamophia’. In the past 3 months, India had witnessed an Islamic insurrection of sorts, first in the name of anti-CAA protests from Shaheen Bagh to Jamia, Jaffrbad to Seelampur and now the illegal gathering of the radical Tablighi Jamaat.

Tablighi Jamaat believes in Jihad and many of their speeches creating doubts in the minds of Tolerant HINDUS whether they want to wage a war against India with Corona Jihad. All Indian Muslims may not subscribe to this Corona Jihad, but, those who wanted to spread the disease as a religious duty are all Muslims. Many Mosques in different Indian States  had given shelter to Delhi Jamaat Attendees to prevent Police and Medical authorities from performing their duties. Further, many mosques in India were conducting Friday Prayers in spite of Social Distancing Norm in vogue. But, Hindu Temples and Christian Churches had sealed their worshiping places from public attendance. No Friday Prayers in Churches is the most positive helping mentality of minority Christians.

India had admirably handled Corona infected persons till 30th March 2020, but, the Delhi Muslims’ Congregation had made the position worst – even death increasing from 30+ to 60+ - number doubling  – all mostly due to Muslims’ Attendees of Delhi Jamaat Conference.   The Table below will show the gravity of the situation after the attendees of Delhi Muslim Congregation moving freely throughout India without caring either for their lives or for others.

We will be failing in our duty if E-Touch do not condemn Maulana Saad, Head of Markaz Mosque at Nizamuddin, Delhi and Main Architect Preacher of  Tablighi Jamaat.
