Demise of Warrior  Monk  Rama Gopalan

Born: 1927  - Died: 30-09-2020 at the age of 94

Born in 1927 at Sirkazhi, Mr. Gopalan joined the RSS in 1945.

He founded the Hindu Munnani in 1980 under the guidance of the RSS.

Following the Meenakshipuram conversions  of Hindus in February 1981, in which around 200 Dalit families of the village converted to Islam as caste Hindus practiced untouchability, he tried to rally Hindus and prevent such conversions.

Hindu Munnani was formed to protect the religion from attacks by Islam, Christianity, Communism and those claiming to be rationalists. 

It is also advising Hindus practicing untouchability and caste discrimination to give up these obnoxious  practices to save Hindu religions from conversions.

In 1984, he escaped a bid on his life at the Madurai railway station.

He was among those instrumental in turning immersion processions of Vinayaka idols into a public event in the last 30 years.

In 1993, there were bomb attacks made on the R.S.S. state headquarters at Chintadripet, Chennai. Islamic organizations were found guilty for the blasts and a crackdown was launched on extremist Islamic organizations.

During the visit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L. K. Advani and Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to Coimbatore in 1998, a series of thirteen blasts rocked the city, killing over fifty-eight people. Hindu Munnani Members were stood solidly with the victims of these attacks. Their Members also murdered by Muslim Fundamentalists at many places at different times in Tamilnadu.

E-Touch pays its homage to the saintly and courageous founder member of Hindu Munnani Ram Gopalan  with a wreath. We pray Almighty for his departed soul to rest in Eternal Peace. We convey our heartfelt condolences to all Members of Hindu Munnani and wish that the principles and traditions of their founder Rama Gopalan are carried forward to protect our Ancient Hindu Religion from assaults and conversions.

Nithyashree Mahadevan , Aruna Sairam , OS Arun , Unnikrishnan , Anuradha Shriram , Tippu & Saindhavi – names that you’re most familiar with Carnatic music who are supposed to be a role model for younger generatons .  The above mentioned singers  stooped down to the lowest level possible. They all signed up to sell their music, Thyagaraja Kirthanas to christian mission by simply changing few words and singing in praise of Jesus. It is highly condemnable that they chose to replace the word Rama with Yesu and sang all the kirthanas . It is that same Rama and Krishna who showered their blessings and made them popular and these scumbags have decided to sell our kirthanas to churches who will use them ONLY to do more conversion. Ancient India was called as Bharatavarsa meaning thereby – the country ( varsa ) of Bharata – Emperor Bharata , the son of Shakuntala and Dushyanta Maharaja. Further, Bharata in Sanskrit means Bha – Light and Knowledge and Rata – Devoted and hence Bharata means ‘Devoted to light/knowledge’. In view of such loaded cultural and spiritual background about our ancient country, the constitution of India in its Article 1 (1) confirmed the name of India as Bharat and the actual wording runs thus: “India, that is Bharat, shall be a Union of States” and hence Bharat is officially acknowledged as the name of our country – though the ‘ sickular liberals’ do not want to acknowledge this fact – but, they want our country to be called as ‘India’ only.
