JUSTICE IN JUDGEMENT IN ACQUITAL OF ALL ACCUSED IN BABRI MASJID DEMOLITION CASE
30-09-2020 –
This day is a Golden Day to be remembered by all Devout Hindus, as all 32
accused in Babri Masjid Demolition Case were acquitted on the following grounds
after waiting for 28 years:
•
The
Babri mosque demolition was not pre-planned
•
Not
enough evidence against the accused
•
Anti-social
elements tried to demolish the structure, accused leaders tried to stop them
To
understand “Justice” in Judgment rather than “Law” in judgment, one should turn
some pages of past Indian history just before India got its Freedom from
British Rule – by dividing Bharat into India with secular credentials and
Pakistan – North & East as Islamic Religious States.
There were
demands by Hindus then to hand over 3 Sites of Hindu Temple Lands at Ayodhya,
Kasi and Mathura by the Muslims in order to heal the wounds of Hindus who had
suffered under Mughal Rules for centuries. At that time only Somnath Temple was
built due to the efforts of Sardar Vallabai Patel – then Deputy Prime Minister
even against the opposing Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
Muslims were
not prepared to concede to the justifiable demands of Hindus pertaining to 3
Holy Temples at Ayodhya, Kasi and Mathura. Even Ruling Congress Party was not
with Hindus in their demands for these 3 most sacred shrines, but, worst –
Congress had labeled those Hindus as Fundamentalists, Fascists and Communalists
in the same way as the Indian Muslims did.
Viswa Hindu
Parishad, RSS, BJP, Shiv Sena and other Hindu Religious Organisations had left
with no alternative but to claim first Ram Janmabhoomi land at Ayodhya where
Babri Masjid stood.
They had
collected strong evidences to prove that Babri Masjid was built by Moghal
Emperor Babur after demolishing Grand Ram Temple. But these evidences of books
were not accepted by the Muslim Bodies. Then Archaeological evidences were
documented and produced, but, here again, they were not convinced, but,
disputed that there were no Temple for Ram at the site where Babri Masjid
stood.
Ram
Janmabhoomi Trust approached the Central Government to give permission to
Indian Archaeological Department to excavate without any damage to the disputed
structure with modern technology and even soliciting foreign experts. Even this
was rejected.
There was
also a suggestion to move the Babri Masjid Structure in tact to another site
without dismantling it using high tech modern tools. It was also vetoed.
Having
failed in all these, the issue was high jacked to political arena. Hindu
Organizations move to do symbolic pooja at non-disputed site away from Babri
Masjid with Advani Rath Yathra which had ended in shooting of Karsevaks by then
Chief Minister of Mulayam Singh Yadav wherein many Karsevaks had martyred.
Then on 6th December 1992, Babri Masjid was pulled down
by devout and frenzied Karsevaks. They had installed Ram Lalla idols in a
hurriedly constructed makeshift tent.
And the
subsequent events are history. If the
Congress had persuaded the Muslim Bodies to come to an understanding with the
Hindu Organizations to settle Ram Janmabhoomi Title issue, the demolition of
Babri Masjid could have been averted, but, instead, the Congress was
instigating the BJP accusing that the BJP wanted to keep the Ram Temple Issue
alive for its political gains.
Hence
morally if not legally, many persons – political bodies – so called Leftist
Intellectuals were responsible for the demolition of disputed structure called
Babri Masjid.
“Destruction
for Construction” had gained momentum, as there were no sincere give & take
policy to settle the Ram Temple Issue by the opposing Parties and Muslim Bodies
with Ram Temple Trust.
Ram
Janmabhoomi Title Verdict by the Supreme Court on 09-11-2019 was in favour of
Hindus allowing them to build a Grand Ram Temple.
And now by
this verdict of acquittal of 32 accused, the issue should be accepted by all
with grace and this will create a new chapter in Hindu-Muslim Brotherhood.
LK Advani,
after the verdict, had said to the media:
“I will say
only one thing “Jai Jai Shri Ram, Sab Ko Sanmatti De Bhagavan (May Lord, Bestow
Wisdom on all”
JAI JAI SHRI
RAM.
